As a well respected and veteran nurse within the community, Mark Lessman was brought to our facility with the intent to mentor and facilitate the growth of our nurses and their clinical skills. In a few short months he has assisted in improving our outcomes from good to great! He has worked one to one with staff and taught large groups of nurses in a classroom setting. Each nurse he encounters is left feeling encouraged and clinically stronger.

When he is not teaching in the classroom or at the bedside he pitches in to help on the units. Our patients have also taken notice, several have spoken to the Director about his positive impact on their stay. He can sit down at the patient's bedside and speak with them about their health issues in a way that takes the fear out of the unknown that comes with being sick and in the hospital. Mark is the kind of nurse that every nurse dreams of becoming and every patient hopes to have on their team.
