Mark Spence, RN, AND

My husband got to the unit with small bowel from surgery, Mark told me everything he was doing before he was doing it. He spoke to my husband with great respect and kindness. It was like he was taking care of his dad. My husband is a very stubborn man, and he said some things that weren’t very nice to Mark, and Mark just kept talking to him in a very soft voice. Mark has been with us the whole time, and I will miss him tomorrow when he is off. I worked here for 30 years and have never met a nurse like Mark. He puts Wesley Long into what we were in 1979 TLC (Tender, Loving, Care). He has been my angel God knew we needed. I know we have great nurses, but Mark comes from a higher up. He has a very special gift. Thank you, Mark, for being my angel.
