I went to the Emergency Department on Monday. I had trouble breathing and severe chest pain. Mark was my nurse. He immediately went to work and really made all the difference in my anxiety and what was going on. He explained everything that was going to occur with regard to needed tests. I was concerned my blood pressure was too high, and he explained this to me. He made me feel so comfortable and explained everything so that I completely understood what was going to happen. When you go into the ED with the symptoms that I had and scared to death, it’s great to have someone who is calming, reassuring, and overall makes you feel that everything is going to be okay. This was HUGE. Every Emergency Department should have someone like him. I was very lucky and thankful that he was my nurse during my stay in the ED.
