Markayla Anderson, BSN, RN

I was fortunate enough to have Markayla care for me for my initial surgical night as well as the next few. She was kind, compassionate, and thorough. She spent so much time with me, I thought I was her only patient.

She thoroughly assessed me throughout her shift and continuously implemented measures to enhance my comfort and reduce my pain. She listened to my needs and concerns and went above and beyond to care for me. I didn't feel like she was completing tasks or checking off boxes, but rather treating me as an individual and delivering personalized care that she was clearly passionate about.

I am also a registered nurse, former health care administrator, and current professor in nursing. My background gives me high expectations for the care I receive. The institution should be extremely proud to call her a Cooper nurse.
