My son is autistic, and she definitely went above and beyond trying to make him feel comfortable and work on communicating with him. He had been very sick for 3 going on 4 days, and we had gone to another hospital who would not even look in his ears for an ear infection or check his temperature. This nurse was the best advocate that I have had for my son. While he was nauseated, she held him and talked calmly, soothing him. She was able to work well with him and start an IV on him without scaring him. Overall, words can't explain how amazing this nurse is.
