Marlena L Washer, RN

Marlena received two nominations, and both were powerful stories of what it means to be a Franciscan nurse. The first nomination was from a student that she had mentored who shared that Marlena had a profound impact on her and how much she appreciated the opportunity to work with and learn from her. The second nomination, from a co-worker, recounted a very poignant example of Marlena acting as a patient advocate. She combined excellent assessment skills with positive advocacy to provide safe care for a Mom and her baby. We are so blessed to have you here, Marlena, caring for our patients!
