We talked for a while, and in a very professional and stern way, Marlene said I needed a check-up. I went to the heart doctor and needed a stress test and three additional tests. The tests did show abnormal readings which led to additional tests. I needed that push that day because sometimes I can be stubborn. Her talk about health and the need to stay current on test was just what I needed. Many thanks to Marlene for caring and setting me on the straight road to better health. She meets everyone with a smile and a 'How are you today?' We (the Veterans) all say, 'Just Fine' most of the time, but are we?
