Marline Goularte, RN

I was transferred to the ICU with another COIVD patient. My wife advocated for me through the doctor and also to the administrator, who they claimed was an advocate. None of this seemed to help, and everything was falling on deaf ears. In the ICU ward, my wife had finally found a true advocate in nurse Marline Goularte. I believe Nurse Goularte could see what others couldn't. Marline cared enough to see that I got the help that I needed; she helped me get transferred to another facility where I was evaluated and put in a room by myself with constant professional care that made me have to be on my chest as much as I could and as often as I could forcing the infection to leave my body. Again, I'd like to say that if it wasn't for real advocacy from nurse Marline who truly understood, I probably wouldn't have ever gone home.
