Our family wants to give special thanks to Marni and her admirable care for baby M. M is a 5-month-old baby with Crouzon syndrome. He had many health problems regarding his breathing and hydrocephaly and spent 2 months in the hospital coming in and out of surgeries. Every time Marni was his nurse, she always came to the room with a big smile, a cheering spirit, and a kind disposition. She was always very sweet with M and went the extra mile bathing him, putting some cream on him, and even massaging his legs after so many days lying down in bed. When speaking with M's overly exhausted mom, she was always understanding and offering alternatives when M was irritable or crying nonstop. She even offered to stay with M so the mom could grab some food at the cafeteria! This may seem a really small gesture for some, but for a parent who stayed next to his child for so many weeks, barely leaving his side, it felt like heaven. THANK YOU, MARNI, for your patience and dedication and for going the extra mile with M and his parents! The NYU Langone Hospital must be extremely proud to have you as part of their staff!
