I cannot begin to tell you what a difference nurse Marsha Williams made in my stay. I was brought in from another hospital in labor at 31 weeks. I was very lucky to have her for a couple of very hard nights. I live several hours from here and was alone and very scared for my baby, not to mention over emotional and in so much pain. She really helped to calm me down, offering coloring, crosswords, anything to try and help me to occupy my mind. She gave me the personal time I was so desperately in need of. It was as if I was her only patient. She talked to me, let me cry to her and sympathized with me. She even let me hug her. I felt as though I had family here with me. She stayed on top of my meds so I was finally able to get eased off and rest after days of none! She continually checked up on me and asked if she could help or get me anything, but never once waking me when I finally did sleep. I am thankful for all she did for me. This has been a very hard year for me and even harder pregnancy. She was a true blessing in my life, and I will forever be grateful for her.
