I just wanted you to know how much of an impact you’ve had. Ever since you were his nurse during his MRI, you became his nurse in his heart. Every visit to the Children’s Hospital, he asks for you by name.
He had all the nurses searching for you before his procedure this week because he didn’t want anyone else caring for him. That kind of trust doesn’t come from nowhere…it comes from your kindness, patience, and the way you made him feel safe.
Thank you for being such a blessing to him (and to us). I hope your birthday is as special as the comfort you bring to the children you care for.
