A patient, now in his 70s, was undergoing what his daughter described as "his first real surgery." Martha Jennings delivered noteworthy care to her patient and gave something more, her time.
"Martha took the time to not only provide such great care, she listened to his stories," the daughter wrote. "In every wonderful thing every wonderful nurse does each day when you see absolute kindness and gentleness come through, it is very appreciated."
