Martha Byard, RN

Mrs. Martha walked into my room and immediately showed me kindness. She brought my mother and me Dr. Peppers! She talked to me about life and made me laugh and smile the whole time, even though I was in pain. She showed me love and compassion for her job. She made sure we were taken care of. She came quickly when I needed her. Mrs. Martha is one of the good ones. I have had past experience with nurses being rude and making me get upset. But today I was cared for as I have never been. She wanted to know about me and not just follow a chart. I would really like her to be recognized. After we talked, she knows, just like I do, that nurses can be completely rude. I went through a bad case when I had my second baby back in June. So, needless to say, I was ecstatic to have her caring for me. And I think she was happy to have a patient like me who respects her the same way she respects me! I literally want to come back just to see her!
