Martha was recognized by several people. All of whom echoed the same sentiment, that Martha is a compassionate, gentle, caring person with fantastic nursing skills. One nomination came from a family whose parent had passed away. Martha provided not only the physical care to the patient but also provided enormous compassion for the family. They stated that she brought them joy and comfort through a very difficult time.
