Our Dad was admitted for a suspected ischemia stroke with left side deficit. Martha was the first nurse we interacted with and she made us feel safe and informed. She identified that our Dad was deteriorating and acted quickly. We were transferred to Neuro ICU shortly after the MRI confirmed he had converted to a hemorrhagic stroke. We were all very scared and she comforted us greatly. When we returned from Neuro ICU, she resumed care for our Dad. She continued to be a great resource and support. Our Dad was well cared for and safe. We have been blessed to watch our Dad improve under the watchful eye of Martha Murray.
