When the Covid-19 pandemic struck again, being hospitalized at that time was so scary and difficult for me. My nurse Martine Monard helped me. Coming to the hospital for a biopsy made me wonder if I will ever return to my beautiful home and family. Martine had so many other patients to care for, but she made me feel that I am the only one that mattered. She sat at my bedside and looked into my eyes when we spoke. Martine helped me understand that even though this may be a crisis for me, I am better off than many, and she made sure to get me home safe and sound.
