Martyna made us feel safe and reinstalled our trust at PAH. We had a complicated and prolonged labor turned C-section that was very traumatic. Besides having a traumatic birth, our baby had hypoglycemia and jaundice. Martyna's excellent nursing skills and thorough assessment recognized our baby's jaundice before the 24-hour mark, which we learned is critical. She called the doctor and obtained blood work, which showed critical levels of bilirubin in his blood. He was sent to the NICU and needed IV infusions and close monitoring. She saved our baby's life, and we are forever grateful. She also showed empathy to us after having a bad experience. She listened to our concerns and followed up at every angle. And when praising her for her thorough nursing, she modestly said this is her job and duty, never taking credit for how amazing she is.
