I was fortunate enough to have Marvin care for me during an antibiotic infusion session in Short Stay. He was immensely kind and good humored and was quick to set my anxious mind to rest. Getting an infusion for someone like me, who has very small veins, has proven to be a very painful process in the past, but Marvin showed a tremendous amount of patience trying to coax out a good vein, and got the needle in on the first try! My dad came along with me on the day of my visit, and Marvin kept us entertained while we waited for my medication to arrive. Never in all of my years have I met such an extraordinary nurse. He went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable and taken care of, and even gave me tips to make my next infusion less painful. Thank you Marvin, you were wonderful.
