A Clinical Nurse III working in the CCU, Angie’s passion and dedication to nursing is highly regarded by her peers. As a relief coordinator, they note Angie is always willing to help out when the census is high, and she also serves as a preceptor and mentor to new staff.
In her role as a Magnet Ambassador, Angie encourages staff to share their stories. In addition, she is an active member of two committees, NeuroCritical Care Excellence and Cardio Thoracic Frontline, and has attained four certifications requiring specialized training and knowledge in specific areas of critical care: Cardiac Medicine certificate (CMC), Cardiac Surgery certificate (CSC), Certified Neuroscience RN certificate (CNRN), and Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN).
