I felt calm and confident in your hands.
During the time I was with Mary Ann, she made me feel welcome and made sure I was comfortable before my surgery. As a scientist, I always have lots of questions, and Mary Ann answered them all with a smile and sometimes with a chuckle. Whether it was when she had to put an IV in the back of my hand or wraps on my legs, she explained not only what she was doing, but why. She is a special person. Thank you so much for the tender and patient way you cared for me as you prepped me for surgery. I felt calm and confident in your hands. It made all the difference in the world as I came into the hospital feeling nervous.
