Mary Ann Maness, LPN was honored with The DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses on June 8, 2009 at O.R. Nurses, Inc. Mary Ann was chosen for "going above and beyond the call of duty" when it comes to taking care of her patients. She "always goes that extra mile to ensure her patients are taken care of" and works hard to "boost the morale of her patients and co-workers". Mary Ann recently volunteered to make Halloween costumes for all of her co-workers in an effort to provide a fun, cheerful environment for all of the patients in the clinic she was working in. Mary Ann was nominated by her supervisor at Vanderbilt Medical Center/Clinic, where she worked as a travel staffing nurse.
