I would love to express to you my stay and let you know that I was so blessed to be able to have one of your outstanding nurses. She sure helped me smile and feel as if I was cared for with such a welcoming, caring, very compassionate, beautiful young lady, my outstanding Mary Ashley. I was admitted and very ill with having concerns about my health and my stay; she gave me very helpful information and helped me understand my questions. I was very scared, the sickest I have ever been without a lot of family to comfort and feel loved. This lady, Mary Ashley, has a heart of gold and will take the time from her duty to sit/stand in my room to help me feel as if I am a person and that my condition is going to be okay. She always asked what she could do for me.
When I was depressed, crying out in pain, sick, couldn't eat, scared of my diagnosis, Mary Ashley was there. She is a nurse this floor needs every day. She smiles happy smiles. Never once made me feel unwanted or that I was a pest. Never too busy to help me feel better, she was my "DAISY." I will miss her when she goes home from her shift. Thank you so much! She will go very far in her career!
