My 3 ½ year old son had surgery in December, and I expected him to go ‘kicking and screaming.’ Mary made him so comfortable during pre-op that when they came to get him for the OR, he asked for her. When she came in and put her arms out, he jumped right into them and went back to surgery with a smile on his face. When he woke up after surgery he asked for me, but as soon as he knew I was coming he asked for Mary. I can't thank her enough for the care and kindness she showed him.
