Mary Beth is wonderful. She knew my daughter Katie was very nervous as she had never had surgery before. From the minute Mary Beth stood in the doorway, smiling at Katie, she put her at ease with her calming voice and tender and caring actions. She was likewise just as caring and knowledgeable to me. She continued to make what could have been a very negative, scary experience into a pleasant and positive experience. When I think of what a “good nurse” is, Mary Beth fits all those categories: Kind, caring, knowledgeable, and empathetic. I highly recommend her for this award!
