Mary Beth went above and beyond for me the minute she got here. She was just so personal with me and made me feel comfortable and at home. She helped me by being so understanding, calm, and caring. I particularly struggled during my epidural, and she was right there to comfort and support me. She was very understanding of any fears or problems I had during the contractions and while in active labor. She was so good on directing, helping and cheering me on while pushing that I honestly paid more attention to her words than anyone (including family and doctor) in the room.

She continued to go above and beyond after the delivery. She was always so kind and patient with any visitors we had. One particular moment that sticks out is that my sister had come to visit with her 5 week old son. She has had so much issue with breast feeding him that she had actually started mainly feeding him formula. She decided to try and breast feed him while she was visiting with us, but was still having trouble with him when Mary Beth walked in.

She immediately walked over to my sister and began to help her and she got the baby to latch and feed! She was so amazingly patient and attentive when helping me to breastfeed as well that I think if it weren't for her, I would have become very frustrated. I can honestly say that my time here was so enjoyable and relaxing thanks in a huge part to her. I was always so happy to see her come in, and was sad to say the "final" goodbye to her Sunday night. Mary Beth is everything a nurse should be and more.
