A gentleman was in hospital undergoing emergency surgery. He was in extreme pain and Mary Beth was considerate, helpful, and insightful to his needs. She helped calm him when this was needed. We were very lucky to have her on duty both Saturday and Sunday. This gentleman is a very nervous and anxious person. While in the hospital, he had to have four different catheters placed, two of which Mary Beth helped him with. She managed to calm him down and get him to trust her when the last one had to be re-inserted. It is very evident that she is devoted to the patients she serves and provides care to them as they were her immediate family. She exhibited a positive attitude when working with this gentleman. Mary Beth Sutton exemplifies performance and a positive attitude when dealing with her patients. Mary Beth is a true DAISY Nurse.
