August 2023 Honoree
Mary Bindus, RN, WCC
My elderly dad has repaired a broken hip. He developed many complications of which his nurse was on top of (everything as it arose). Mary was compassionate with my father and us. Unfortunately, he deteriorated and had to be placed in hospice. Mary gave me a strip of his heartbeat in a little jar. That was so heartfelt and appreciated. Nursing is very hard. She was also caring for other very sick patients. You are lucky to have such a wonderful nurse on your staff. She had an upbeat attitude while knowing when to be serious. I could tell she was a leader in that unit. Thank you.
Thank you, Mary, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
