When I went into premature labor it was the scariest time in my life. So many questions filled my head. I am this tiny human's mother and I can't help her and give her what she needs. I couldn't, but the NICU nurses could, especially Mary. Mary made us feel at ease, she made us feel confident that D was in the best care. Mary was always so compassionate to our fears, to our endless questions and our sporadic sobs. She was so good with our baby as if she has this special connection with her. It was beautiful to witness. Mary is a true DAISY Nurse. She's forever in our gratitude.
