I have been struggling with severe pilonidal disease for over eight months. Mary Claire has been my nurse on multiple occasions throughout my journey at Blodgett Hospital and has demonstrated unparalleled compassion and care for my well-being. I have been overwhelmed by the time she has taken to sit with me, comfort me, listen to my needs, and advocate for me with my other care providers.

When I was at the height of my pain, post plastic surgery, Mary Claire sat with me, played card games with me, joked with me, and provided a much-needed distraction from my pain. I've had many nurses over the last eight months, all of whom have been impeccable, but Mary Claire goes above and beyond in a way that makes me feel like I'm being cared for by my own family. She balances professionalism and candidness with unwavering empathy and has been a rock to me each day I've been in her care.
