I was a student nurse shadowing and witnessed an act you rarely see. A patient who spoke about his depression wasn't his usual self. Mary Francis asked if she could sing him a song and he agreed. She started singing a hymn. The patient smiled ear to ear and started to sing with her. He teared up and told her how she changed his day and I will always carry that moment with me and patient care.
