Mary Corvin, RN

I am in a unit where my physical and mental aspects are being treated at the same time. Brain tumor cancer/psychosis. I just needed "someone to talk to" as the saying goes. Because I know it would help in at least my mental recovery. Mary not only “helped” but also cared enough to be personable about it in sharing, so I felt comfortable. Secondly, Mary took the extraordinary time to do a few “walk and talks” with me. Those walks brought back to life, both my physical and mental capacities all in one shot. Mary shared a personal memory that jogged my memory as I too served in the U.S. Military. So I recalled my service duty in the U.S. Navy. All this was way above and beyond her role. I will always recognize her as 1 of several true lifesavers in my walk of this life before heaven. Oh just thought of another!!! All this duty she freely gave in the middle of Covid. Mary, you are my HERO
