Mary has become a truly wonderful nurse and a vital member of our unit. Each shift she brings in energy and a will to work. She is constantly on top of all of her assignments and is willing to help out any nurse who needs anything. Whether it be helping to start an IV on a patient or going in and doing labs for a nurse who is busy, she is there to be the rockstar! It is truly a pleasure to work with such a tremendous nurse! Each shift, she will sit down and talk with her patients and their families to establish a rapport and provide comfort during such a stressful time. She has such a passion for learning and continues to ask questions to further her knowledge of each disease process. She has been a nurse less than a year and provides such a high level of care that one could make the case that she has been a nurse her entire life. She provides a calm and methodical approach to her craft and truly exemplifies what a St. Jude nurse should look like.
