"While Caring for our daughter in the NICU, Nurse Mary went above and beyond in so many ways. She constantly challenged her to take steps toward discharge (lowering oxygen level, feeding, etc.). She also took the time to help our baby create keepsakes with her hand and footprints so that her room would be more unique and welcoming. Nurse Mary also took the time to make sure that we understood the care our baby was receiving and the progress she was making."
Mary would do crafts with footprints for all holidays and hang them in their rooms and would send them home with the families keep. She puts so much into being a nurse each and every day and truly loves what she does. Her life revolves around being a nurse and helping babies and their families feel at ease.
Mary also does crafts for her coworkers every assignment she is on to say thanks before she leaves. One time she wrote out thanks in different candies to show her appreciation!
Here are also some comments from her Managers from two travel assignments she completed through MSO:
"Mary was never a charge/preceptor officially since she was a traveler, but she was a leader on our unit for all new nurses. Mary is personable and positive. I never heard a negative word come out of her mouth and I adore her. Anyone would be lucky to have her and I would let Mary take care of my family because she is always ready to work and has a great attitude."
"Mary was a great traveler to our unit and any facility would be lucky to have her! Mary is outgoing and sweet and has tremendous knowledge and passion. I have seen Mary's work and she knows what she is doing!"
