Terry Gilchrist is always open to helping on either side of the OR. She is very proactive regarding case necessities, whether it is her case or a colleague's. Terry seeks to provide instruments or safety equipment for upcoming cases. If she has a case that's been postponed or she is free, she will voluntarily go from room to room to see who may need help without being asked. She has been known to come in early to ensure rooms are properly equipped for first cases. Terry is a wonderful preceptor and mentor, and though my area has changed, she has volunteered to continue to mentor me. She has been a shining example of humility, service, and compassion. Terry deserves a bouquet of daisies.
