During a physically draining and emotionally difficult time in my life, she made me feel truly seen, heard, and safe. I came in with obstructed kidney stones, severe pain, chills, nausea, and exhaustion. I was scared and alone. She didn’t just provide my medications; she checked on me and my well-being. She explained everything calmly, never rushed, and treated me with the dignity and compassion I didn’t know I needed. She helped me manage my pain effectively, kept me informed, and brought comfort through small gestures. I can tell she truly cared – not just about my illness, but about me as a person. She has exemplified excellence in every part of her role- clinically, emotionally, and professionally. She collaborated seamlessly with other staff and stayed attentive even when the floor seemed to be busy. She made sure I never felt like a burden.
