I didn't expect that this person would make such an impact on me. Mary Grace is quiet, but how she works speaks of how good of a nurse she is. Her support to each and every one of us brings positivity and gives me another reason to come to work. Every RRT and code we have been on together, she never let her worries show. Instead, she makes sure the situation is under control. Being a charge nurse with patients to handle is difficult, but Mary Grace never leaves things undone and is very dedicated to her work. She is always accessible and extends her arms to support everybody.

The term 'Servant leader' is her other name. I had a patient who was to undergo a certain procedure, and I was very busy during the shift. She went through the patient's chart and made sure the informed consent was signed. I barely sat down that entire shift, and her helping with that patient not only helped me but also helped the patient’s care. She is a role model to emulate. She is not just a nurse but an effective leader and a team player. She is very understanding and is always willing to share her knowledge. We are very lucky to have her, and she is one of the best nurses and assets of this hospital. I will always choose to work with her anytime and everywhere.
