I was diagnosed with breast cancer and frightened as I did not know what the future held and worried for my two small children. Once my chemotherapy began, Mary provided me with her email and cell phone number in case I needed to reach her after hours. She gave me the assurance that I always had somebody to talk to who knew my case and it felt very personalized. There were times when I had to call Mary and I always found a soft comforting voice on the other end of the phone.
