Mary Holcomb, RN

I was diagnosed with cancer, and my life expectancy greatly diminished. My partner and I have been together for over 40 years but have never married. I didn’t believe we could have a ceremony and was hopeful we could be married in my room. Mary was the lead in making it possible to have a ‘real’ ceremony. We were surrounded by all our family and those we loved, including the nursing staff. My wife and I will never be able to express how much Mary’s efforts and those of Powell 3 meant to us. It was the best day ever.
