Mary Jane is truly a compassionate nurse. She always takes the time to come and visit all her patients on the floor. Mary Jane works in the recovery room and when she interacts with patients they are often forgetful after anesthesia. Mary Jane takes it upon herself to visit and speak with her patients the next day. Just today I witnessed Mary Jane helping a patient up after surgery. She has also taken extra time to educate her patients and the staff about the procedures that her patients have undergone. Mary Jane has worked at GCH for many years and is an example of a true nurse. She assisted in the ICU during COVID while the operating room was closed. Instead of running from the front lines, she ran to them.
