Mary is the definition of the "perfect nurse" - caring, compassionate, communicative, attentive, gentle, always smiling, and thorough. If there were questions or issues, she always followed through immediately. If there was a delay she explained why.
Each time medications were given, she named them one by one and explained what the medication was for. She shared and explained the reason for the doctor's orders.
Mary never seemed to be in a hurry as she gave my mother her full attention each time she came into the room.
