I was admitted to Virtua Memorial's emergency room last night, where I had the good fortune to be treated by Nurse Mary Jane Namnun. I am 67 years old and have raised 5 children to adulthood, so you can imagine that I've had my share of contacts with many hospitals. I have NEVER received the excellent level of care and concern that I got from Ms. Namnun. And believe me, I am not one to throw compliments around lightly. Not only did I receive excellent medical attention, but almost as importantly, there was a genuine level of patient concern and bedside manner that I only would have expected from a close relative.
