November 2025 Honoree
Mary Jauch, RN
My mom's stay in the burn ICU was a challenging experience, filled with uncertainty and fear. However, the care provided by her nurse, Mary, was exceptional. She went above and beyond her duties, ensuring my mom was as comfortable and pain-free as possible, and always informed about her treatment.
Mary patiently answered every question we had, alleviating our anxieties. She even returned calls promptly, providing updates that offered a sense of reassurance during those tough hours. Mary was both compassionate and a professional. She treated my mom, not just as a patient, but as a human being deserving dignity and respect.
Throughout this unfortunate experience, my mom has been to multiple hospitals and has seen several nurses, but Mary stands out above the rest. Thanks to nurses like Mary, we face those difficult days in the burn ICU with a sense of trust and confidence, knowing that my mom was in the best possible hands.
