Mary has a strong work ethic and continuously displays a pleasant, positive, and respectful personality and an enthusiastic approach to her work. Mary is an expert in time management and is always the first person to ask for a new patient when she discharges one. She is in constant communication with the charge nurse about her patients' condition or admission/discharge status. Mary's service to her patient is impeccable. She offers translation assistance whenever she senses a patient may not understand. She ensures they have whatever they need. She instills confidence in new moms and soothes the worries of the NICU moms. Mary consistently offers help to her peers and supervisors and looks for opportunities to go above and beyond. During the holiday season, Mary asked in the middle of her shift to help them out based on her past experience in the department. Mary agreed without hesitation. She reported off on her NFC patients, floated to L&D and did recoveries, and then returned to NFC to take on new admissions at the end of the day. Mary's quickness and assistance averted a safe harbor situation in L&D and the nurses were so grateful. Mary is highly committed to her patients and her team and we are so fortunate to have her on our staff.
