Mary K Hill, DNP, MSN, RN-BC,OCN, CHPN

Mary is an inspiration to me. She is deeply committed to us as students, and exceptional in her teaching skills, both in the classroom and in a clinical setting. She intertwines her personal experiences and uses her amazing sense of humor to really make the subject matter attainable, understandable, and easier to recall. While she seemed a bit intimidating at first, it has become clear that she cares passionately about what she does, her students, and her patients. She leads by example of excellence and she expects us to rise to the level we need to be at, and we do! I am a non-traditional student, who has a previous BA from Cornell University... so I've had a lot of professors. She is unequivocally the best I have ever had. The only other who would come to mind as great was my high school AP Bio teacher who taught me to love science. Mary has taught me to love the career I have chosen and to demand correctness from myself. I will always feel grateful to have had her as a teacher and mentor.
