We were in the hospital longer than expected and my son was happy to see M.K. when she was assigned to us the second time. He said M.K. engaged with him in a way the other nurses didn't and made him more comfortable. That's saying a lot from a teenager. I appreciated everything she did to try not to wake him up at night too. She has a penlight on her badge that she used to check the IV instead of turning on the lights. M.K. answered all my questions and was overall great.
