November 2023 Honoree
Mary L King, RN
Mary remembered me and everything that had happened the day before when her shift started again. It may seem small, but it's important to me that my baby and I get the best care, and that's more likely to happen with someone who knows us a little better than a stranger. She was especially prompt to my needs whether it be calling the anesthesiologist back or getting some water. She was sympathetic to my pain - despite likely having seen worse. She made me feel like more than a patient while also making me feel like I was in good hands.
Thank you, Mary L, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
