Mary is a new nurse and already an excellent nurse. I have personally witnessed the way that Mary interacts with her patients. She has a very sweet, gentle and calm presence. She brings a sense of calm confidence when working with patients. She goes above and beyond what is expected to deliver truly exceptional care.

Just today Mary took the time to look up and print patient education for a patient being discharged with a foley catheter. She focuses on patient education and treats everyone with the utmost respect. Mary has told the charge nurse when she finished a new admission letting the charge know she was happy to accept another new admission. It is this type of attitude and teamwork that makes Mary a true asset to the 5th floor!
