Mary is an RN and patient navigator at the Comprehensive Breast Center. A colleague whose aunt had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer nominated Mary. Mary calmed her fears, explained everything and helped her with her appointments. After talking with Mary, the patient reported feeling a sense of peace. Mary helps relieve anxiety for many of our breast cancer patients and she does this in a meaningful and compassionate way.
