Mary continues to provide him with exceptional nursing care. He now only wants her to see him, even moving his days to be seen when she is off.
I have been Mary’s manager for a little over a year, and in that time, I have found her to be compassionate and caring. She demonstrates exceptional nursing skills and promotes professionalism in nursing. As a new nurse, she collaborates with all members of care teams. She is honest, trustworthy, and has patience with everyone she encounters. We receive many compliments about Mary. This is an example of one of the latest ones we received:
We have a difficult patient who has chased out all of the other nurses. Mary continues to provide him with exceptional nursing care. He now only wants her to see him, even moving his days to be seen when she is off. He calls often to let me know what a wonderful, compassionate nurse Mary is.
Another patient of Mary’s who lost her husband and only child in 6 months called to say Mary brings joy to her life, and she looks forward to seeing Mary when she comes to do her wound care. She has called to let me know she is grateful and couldn’t say enough about Mary. She stated that Mary stands out as a nurse willing and able to go way beyond the normal call of duty for her patients and their families and the VNA as a whole.
