Mary is such a kind and compassionate RN and has been put in a leadership role because of her excellent care and serving heart. She took on a very difficult task recently with a patient who had an extreme case of lice. After several treatments, Mary started combing the nits out of her hair and realized that this could take days. She talked with the patient about shaving her head and the patient agreed. The next day, Mary brought in some beautiful scarves for the woman so she could cover her head. Mary provides these acts of kindness without a second thought and is one of the most genuine RNs I know.
